Are you an experienced travel professional looking to level up your business? Dream Destinations is seeking passionate Travel Agents to join our team!

At Dream Destinations, you will be responsible for creating dream travel experiences for your clients by providing expert advice, planning itineraries, and booking quality travel services! Your goal will be to ensure that each client enjoys a seamless travel experience as well as work towards your own sales achievements.

Responsibilities

• Market yourself in person and online to generate leads and build your client list.
• Promptly respond to trip inquiries and client communications. 
• Conduct consultations to understand client preferences, needs, and travel dreams.
• Provide expert recommendations using your knowledge and our preferred supplier network.
• Research and book travel components (flights, hotels, insurance & more).
• Manage bookings from start to finish, ensuring seamless travel experiences.
• Provide exceptional customer service to receive positive feedback and encourage client referrals. 
• Stay informed on trends and regulations through ongoing learning opportunities and supplier training programs.
• Collect and protect sensitive data, including passport and payment information.
• Handle itinerary changes, cancellations, and issues with professionalism and urgency.
• Leverage supplier relationships to provide added value and insider tips for your clients.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) experience of selling travel in Ontario, with a proven sales record
• TICO Certification required
• Experience with Sabre Vacations, ClientBase, and Microsoft Office
• Access to, and proficient with, modern technology (smartphone, computer)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English)
• Background in travel, sales, customer service, and administration
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable
• Strong problem solving skills, able to thrive under pressure and change
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
• A love for travel along with personal destination knowledge and experience

• You’re proactive about learning, whether that’s attending webinars, completing specialist courses, or joining FAM trips - all to better serve your clients.
